Σε ασθενή 75 ετών με ισχαιμική καρδιοπάθεια χωρίς ένδειξη επαναγγείωσης και με αυτόματη εμμένουσα μονόμορφη κοιλιακή ταχυκαρδία, εμφυτεύθηκε διπλοεστιακός αυτόματος απινιδωτής (ICD DR). Τη δεύτερη μετεγχειρητική ημέρα διαπιστώθηκαν πολλαπλές εκφορτίσεις της συσκευής. Στο interrogation που ακολούθησε φάνηκε πως η συσκευή αναγνώρισε πολλαπλά επεισόδια κοιλιακής ταχυκαρδίας και κοιλιακής μαρμαρυγής.
Με βάση τα ηλεκτρογράμματα από το interrogation της συσκευής που παρατίθενται:
- Είναι δόκιμη ή αδόκιμη η εκφόρτιση που καταγράφεται;
- Ποιος είναι ο πιθανός μηχανισμός ενεργοποίησης της συσκευής; (excerpt)
